RCPO & CPA Volunteer Appreciation Dinner Social

It has been a while since we have gotten together as a group.  So, we are holding a Volunteer Appreciation Dinner event on Friday, April 21, 2023, at the Radnor Township Municipal Building in the Radnorshire Room from 6pm until 10pm.

This will be a great opportunity to gather together and have a chat, check in on each other, and hear about what is going on with everyone.

We will have plenty of appetizers, food, desserts and beverages for all to enjoy!

Sgt. Brady McHale will be there.  We will also have Danielle Koerner, Deputy Chief, Special Operations, Department of Emergency Services to speak about Citizen Corps and Medical Reserve Corps in Delaware County.  I know many of you may already be involved with CCDC, MRC and CERT, so this will be a wonderful opportunity to learn where the groups have been and where they are headed. As you may or may not know, CCDC & MRC, under DES direction, was heavily involved with the COVID-19 response throughout the pandemic.  This includes running many VPODs (vaccination points of dispensing) throughout Delaware County, including ones at Penn Medicine in Radnor, Radnor High School, and the Radnor Township Building.

There will also be volunteers from CCDC, MRC, along with Delco ARES (Amateur Radio Emergency Service) and DelCART (Delaware County Animal Response Team) to mingle with and find out more about what they do in Delaware County.

We plan on a relaxing evening with some old and new friends and acquaintances.  Looking forward to seeing you there!

There was a very nice article in this week's The Delaware County Weekly newsletter about the event, along with a very nice write up on our organizations.
