Hello RCPO friends,
The Event host and Radnor Township Police Department has requested our help with this event. We know that with the pandemic we've had fewer events over the last year, but with vaccinations now readily available we are getting back to more of the wonderful Radnor township events returning, and we need help to make them a success!
Please be an active member of the organization and volunteer if you are available. This is an enjoyable outdoor event with lots of great musicians to listen to.
This day of free music in the local community began in Ithaca, NY in 2007. It is spread through towns across the country including Wayne! PorchFest-goers will enjoy music from Acapella to Zydeoc! Stroll along Midland Ave., St. Davids Rd. and Windemere Ave. to listen to all genres of music. Bring a chair or a blanket and take a seat on a lawn to soak up an afternoon of music fare.
This year, vendors will be selling basic foods and beverages. Restrooms will be open at St. Katherine's. Except for the above streets that will be closed to vehicular traffic, there will be plenty of parking on the street and in public lots.
Please go to our events page to signup, or simply reply to this email. We will be helping with pedestrian safety and traffic control.
While we will need coverage from around 11:15a until around 5:15p, please let us know in the comments what time(s) you are available, we appreciate any coverage that we can get.

Dear Neighbors, Friends, Musicians, Fans, and Supporters of South Wayne PorchFest,
We are so very happy to announce that South Wayne PorchFest 2021 is a go!
As we have said, our “music festival” has become an event looked forward to by our community, a long roster of talented musicians, as well as music lovers near and far. We are delighted that after a long period of isolation, we can once again bring this much-loved event back to the streets of South Wayne.
Please mark your calendars for Saturday, September 11th 2021. We look forward to welcoming everyone for another joyous day.
As this year is the 20th anniversary of 9/11, we will begin the festivities at 11:30 a.m. with a memorial and tribute to our first responders. Musical acts will begin promptly at Noon!
Rest assured that everyone’s health is of paramount importance. We are hopeful that health conditions will permit a great event and are planning accordingly. We hope that everyone continues to do their part, so that health conditions continue to improve and PorchFest, as well as all of the celebrations we have all missed, can be joyously celebrated.
With kindest regards and best wishes for continued good health to all,
South Wayne PorchFest
